When to See a Doctor

Do not rely on a cosmetic product. See a healthcare professional if you:

  • Bruise frequently, easily or without a known cause;
  • Have bruises that are large, very painful, swollen or that don't improve within two weeks;
  • Have bruising after a serious injury, fall or blow to the head;
  • Take blood-thinning medication or have a bleeding or clotting disorder;
  • Notice bruising together with other unusual symptoms, such as bleeding gums, frequent nosebleeds, or blood in urine or stool.

Unexplained or frequent bruising can be a sign of an underlying health condition.

Sunburn Alert

This product contains an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) that may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun and particularly the possibility of sunburn. Use a sunscreen, wear protective clothing, and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterwards.

Warnings and Safe Use

  • For external use only. Apply only to intact skin. Do not apply to cuts, open wounds, broken, sunburned or irritated skin.
  • Avoid contact with eyes, lips and mucous membranes. If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water.
  • Patch test on a small area 24 hours before first use.
  • This product contains retinol and glycolic acid, which may cause temporary dryness, redness, tingling or peeling, especially at first. If this happens, apply every other day until your skin adjusts. Avoid using other retinoids, exfoliating acids or harsh scrubs on the same area at the same time.
  • Pregnancy and breastfeeding: because this product contains retinol, do not use it if you are pregnant, trying to become pregnant or breastfeeding, unless your doctor approves.
  • Allergies: this product contains soybean oil and arnica (a plant of the daisy family, Asteraceae). Do not use it if you are allergic to soy, arnica or any other ingredient listed on the packaging.
  • If you are under medical care, using prescription skin treatments, or have a skin condition, consult your doctor before use.
  • Stop use and consult a healthcare professional if irritation, swelling, itching, rash or any other reaction occurs.
  • Not for use on children. Keep out of reach of children.
  • Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Close tightly after use.
